how far have you gone witht he project so far? how far are you planning on going? if you plan on going turbo (if you dont your a girl ) then it will be worth sourcing an LS2 straight up, they're good for an extra 100rwkw with a basic bolt on turbo kit

haha, i love stiring you guys, its too easy. I have a 2jz with to4z, and an ls1 vx commonwhore with tune. the ls1 gets the power down smoother and runs a faster 1/4, and with a heavier car, and nearly 100kw less power. you should at least know your enemy :P

wouldn't it be easier to get a manualised auto for the gear box....

I think you should go all out with the brakes and get some 8-pot fronts and 6 pot rears. definate overkill but would look very tough next to the noise of the lumpy V8

yeah that sounds pretty overkillish with the brakes but i think it might need it for future mods.. any recommendations on brand/type for best value for money without being cheap n nasty..

i'll put up pics in the projects parts when i get back to aussie next trip.. gotta love workin os
