    Default Help!

Calling all Car Stereo Guru's PLEASE

Lately i have noticed my car has that high pitched frequency which people say sounded like a supercharger whine.

Although, recently the sound does not only go up pitch with the cars rev's the pitch changes sequentially up and down, louder then quieter...

seems to get worse when i turn on my headlights a\c so anything that requires power, im sorry if i sound like a dumb shit, but this stereo was not installed by me therefore i am stumped, otherwise i'd know the problem and fix it. for the time being before i upgrade with a whole new system could somone please, help me to what the problem might be. and i've done the most obvious things, grounds > fuses, loose connection, anyone?!

Is this when you listen to the tuner only, or with the cd also?

Suggest you re-check earths, both at the head unit, amp (if fitted) and the engine to chasis earth. Double check your battery earth clamp is gf material too ( clean and tight ) too!
Oh, and an inline ground loop isolator (goes between head unit and amp) should run at about $20 or so.
