This date is 100% confirmed & booked. The event is open to NSW Club Members only – both to drivers and visitors. A very limited number of spots are available so be quick.
For those of you with track day experience, you will know that booking Eastern Creek is hard yards… getting a weekend date some say is “impossible” but we have done it!!!! Places have been secured and locked in!
This will be a professionally run event and will involve 6 driver instructors (across all groups) including John "Bozzman" Boston of Ian Luff Motivation Australia. Recognised as one of the best driver trainers in Australia, Bozz has a mountain if experience which no doubt will be enthusiastically shared with us.
Details
o Cost is $275.00 per person
o The day will have official timing
o 11 positions have been secured
o 15 minute sessions
o Garage for every position (at no additional cost)
o There will be classroom sessions for Newbies
The Eastern Creek track, being a fast track, will be much easier on the cars. Members are encouraged to run at their own pace. The car does not need to be modified and the NAs will perform just fine.
Other groups cars include a brand spanking new “white” Ferrari F430 as well as a host of other Ferrari’s, BMW M5 and M3’s, 450hp turbo Lotus Exige and some of Stuttgart’s finest Porsches. There will also be some of NSW fastest street registered Evo's and STi’s as well as some big horsepower GTR skylines and some super fast old-school Datsun’s. This day is set to be a a real cracker!!
Visitors
And for those Members that are keen but don’t have the budget, we have secured special approval for Club Members to come along as visitors to actually join in the classroom sessions, access the Club’s garages and fully interact with Members that are running throughout the day. So if you don’t want to run, come along anyway – but you will need to register below. For those that do come as visitors, there may be a special treat for you but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Itinerary
o 8.00am sharp - all drivers are to be ready for the on-track briefing. This will include a group drive onto the track with an instructor with an out of car inspection of conditions for each corner. The instructor will explain the best approach to apex’s and braking markers.
o 9.00am sharp - the experienced drivers group will start their first session.
o 9.00am sharp the newbie groups will go into the upstairs rooms and receive further instruction about the track and how to get the most out of it as safe as possible.
o 9.20am the newbie’s driver training sessions upstairs will have finished and the second group will be out on the track.
o Group sessions will run all day and will not be stopping for lunch.

Departing time: 7:00am SHARP!!!!!!!!!!! if not before. Post if your meeting there and when everyone is there we will leave.
The cut off date for sign-up and payment is Friday 5.00pm, 16 January 2009 at which point your fee must have been received into the NSW Club Bank Account - NO EXCEPTIONS - So make sure you have all your details up and payment fully paid or you will miss out!!!
Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability
The Club organises events on the basis that members who participate, together with their guests and invitees, do so on the basis set out in the Club Rules that (a) they assume all risk associated with the event, (b) that each of them releases and discharges the Club, its officers, volunteers, agents, contractors and sponsors from all claims, suits, demands, expenses, costs, damages or proceedings of any nature whatsoever (whether personal injury, death property damage or loss) sustained or suffered through participation in an event, and (c) that each of them indemnifies and holds harmless the Club, its officers, volunteers, agents, contractors and sponsors from and against all claims, suits, demands, expenses, costs, actions and proceedings of any nature whatsoever arising from or in relation to any injury, loss or damage suffered or sustained by any of them or by any other person as a result of any act, omission, neglect or default of any of them in connection with their participation in an event.
