Default Cals' Black 94 RZ Supra

Howdy, for those familiar with my members ride thread you'll notice this first post has changed dramatically, time for a tidy up I thought Enjoy

Ive only briefly covered each change Ive made to the car here, please see links at the end of this post for direct links to more pics and details on those changes.

As always click on any image for a larger version.

    Purchase
I had been searching for just right the Supra and spotted one in Melbourne that fit the bill nicely. It was well maintained and had several small touches like painted (big) brake calipers, custom leather seats, blue LED dash light conversion. The original for sale thread is located here: Linky. The owner, Steve, was also one of the things that convinced me this car was the one for me as he was particular in selling the car to someone who would look after it. So the basic specs were:

    Year: 1994
    Colour: Black
    Model: JZA80 Supra Twin Turbo
    Engine: 2JZ-GTE
    KM: 115,000 km Approx
    Gearbox: Getrag 6 Speed manual

And the modifications at this stage were:

    Front mount intercooler
Supra big brakes fitted from factory
3” turbo back exhaust with high flow cat
20 psi boost gauge in place of clock.
    Cusco front strut brace
    18" DTM wheels
    Momo Race steering wheel
    Custom re-upholstered front seats
Top Secret front bar and side skirts
    TTC hose mod done
    New hatch rubbers

And here's how it looked at time of purchase

Being that the car was in Melbourne and me being in Perth I obviously had to get it across the Nullabor. I'd always wanted to do the Nullabor trip so here was my chance. My Dad and I flew to Melbourne, met Steve, inspected the car and took it for a drive around the block, handed the cheque over, got insurance, hooked up the Tom Tom and off we went back to Perth. It was a damn fine drive across the Nullabor and Im glad I did it in the Supra. This car really is my idea of a Grand Tourer, very comfortable and great for doing long distances.

And here it is after 3500km driving across Australia

    And now begin the changes!!

TRD Goodies and new oem gear

    Dash Painted

    Polished and painted headlights

PowerFC and Eboost2 tuned giving 330rwhp at 15psi.

    Volk GT-V with Bridgestone RE05A Pole Position (245 front/ 285 rear)

New Series 2 Headlights and new aircon buttons

Titan adjustable cam gears, Titan crank pulley and Titan sway bars added

    Defi gauges and AEM wideband

Some quick vids of the gauges in action:

    Hybrid FMIC
    Apexi Pod Filter
    Do Luck front bar
    Modified Blitz side skirts
    Do Luck rear pods
    TRD wing with CF centre

    And some autosalon pics

Focal 33kx and Audison 1.1k amplifier with Magic Box

You bet I am! Hopefully I'll have some time and have done a thorough detailing before then so the paint will be perfect.
