Hehe, I was confused as to whether or not it was an inline 6 or a V8! So it *was* a V8 then, lucky I thought I was going crazy :P And it was blue? You know the guy who owns it? Why did he do that conversion?

There are all sorts of problems with that statement. But yeah.

Theres a guy on here whos Dad has built a twin turbo 1UZ with a V160 in a JZA80, in Brisbane. (I think the member on here is 'Vantage' not sure though)

He posted videos of it and it is the best sounding setup I have ever seen.

I think possibly had something silly like 2x 4" exhausts!!

1UZ-FTE would be so pants! Still, it'd just be easier to work the 2JZ. You'd get 'better' results too (better being subjective ofcourse).

the guy who own's the blue one put a v8 it in caus he races in N/A classes and doesn't like turbo cars (personal choice i guess) so he has built a few of the 1uz's for it. goes pretty hard but its still no TT, lol.

I like NA too. The sound of a decent NA revving above 7500rpm can't be beaten. The turbo sucking sound is awesome too, but there's just something about a high revving NA. Yummy. I've never driven a turbo car that had an engine that matched the B18C2 for 'feeling' and fun. But they're all more powerfull, obviously.
