Exhaust "burble" or "throbbing"... how to get it?

Ahh, but therein lies the beauty of the Nur-Spec. Burbles low, sounds like a supe at mid range and then screams like an f1 car top end! Best sounding exhaust eva!

That's cause all nissans sound like shit..... except maybe the 350z

My 2JZ has a throbbing burble which mostly goes away when I engage TTC mode, so I have a theory it's the sequential turbo system which does it.

Perhaps this is also why a 1JZ sounds nothing like a 2JZ at idle and low revs

Funny thing is, it is listed as being a BPU, which I assume means it doesn't have lumpy cams? Yet, it still has that nice throb I'm after!
